About the accommodation
Located on the top floor of the House, this spacious two bedroom apartment (100sqm), entirely independent, offers everything necessary to have a fantastic stay.
The kitchen is fully equipped (coffee machine, fridge, oven, dishwasher, microwave and a washing machine), the living room is spacious and offers a dining table to eat and work, a comfortable sofa bed to rest, enjoy reading or watch the television as well as a chimney for warmth in the winter.
The double bedroom is large with a very comfortable bed and a built-in closet. The smaller room offers a single bed as well as its own closet. The bathroom with bath tub with shower provides comfort and modernity.
You’ll love the private terrace on the roof, offering a view on the village and surrounding nature.

In summer, the house is fresh, bright, silent and comfortable. In winter, with chimneys, besides the heating, their feathered comforters and their tranquility, the house offers a wonderful corner where to escape from the bustle, resting after the different excursions that are made, being a fantastic starting point to travel around the Island.
The owners take special care of the cleaning and after each check out, a specialized company takes care of the disinfection protocol marked by the Spanish Ministry of Health.

Flora and fauna
The fauna and flora of the island, typical of the Mediterranean, concentrates the greatest diversity of species in the sea, with more than 400 different species of fish, hundreds of crustaceans and invertebrates and marine birds, among which the endemic Balearic shearwater is particularly noteworthy.
The crown jewel of the seabed is undoubtedly the Posidonia oceanica. This marine plant forms seagrass meadows, which provide protection and food to many species, as well as enriching the water with oxygen and keeping it clean. The Posidonia oceanica is also responsible for the crystal clear color of the waters of the island. On the land we find 124 species of endemic plants, 32 ferns, 31 orchids, 67 protected species and some 130 introduced from outside the islands, coexisting with the almost 2,000 species of the Mediterranean. They are spread over a variety of habitats.
In the animal world, the island counts more than 300 endemic animal species, most of them insects, snails and other invertebrate animals. But if something characterizes the islands, then it is the lizards, like the Balear lizard and the Pitiüsa lizard. Other endemic animal species are the Ferreret toad, almost a fossil that lives in the gorges of the Serra de Tramuntana and is almost a symbol of Mallorca.
Social ecosystem
The accommodation is located in Valldemossa, a village steeped in old-world charm. It lies in an idyllic valley in the midst of the Tramuntana mountains and is filled with old stone houses, picturesque streets sprinkled with shops, art galleries, cafes and restaurants. A must see is Real Cartuja, the Carthusian Monastery where Chopin and George Sand once spent a winter.
The nearest village is Deiá (8km away). Is still very much an artist’s town with a number of art galleries and gift shops, along with a good selection of restaurants while controlled urban expansion has meant that this little village has maintained its traditional beauty and charm. Now it is on every tourist itinerary as a prime example of 'the other Mallorca' and it has even become a popular haunt for the rich and famous, including visitors like Richard Branson, Princess Diana, Bob Geldof and Andrew Lloyd Webber.
Palma, the capital of Mallorca is located 20 km from the accommodation. The city is more attractive than ever, thanks to careful city planning and extensive renovation measures in the old town (Casco Antiguo). The so-called 'pearl of the Mediterranean' offers a vibrant lifestyle by day and night, brimming with Mediterranean flair, which attracts millions of visitors each year. 'The Sunday Times' named Palma one of the world's best places to live.

- by bus: take a bus A1 from 547-Aeroport - Arribades to 1078-pl. d'Espanya - Estació Intermodal (14 min, 5€), then change to bus number 203 to Valldemossa (35 min, 2-4€). From there you will have a 3 min walk to the accommodation

Das Schlafzimmer mit Doppelbett ist groß und hat ein bequemes Bett und einen Einbauschrank. Das kleinere Zimmer bietet ein Einzelbett sowie einen eigenen Schrank. Das Badezimmer mit Badewanne und Dusche bietet Komfort und Modernität.

Flora und Fauna
Die Fauna und Flora der Insel ist typisch für den Mittelmeerraum und weist die größte Artenvielfalt im Meer auf, mit mehr als 400 verschiedenen Fischarten, Hunderten von Krustentieren und Wirbellosen sowie Meeresvögeln, unter denen der endemische Balearensturmtaucher besonders hervorzuheben ist.
Das Kronjuwel des Meeresbodens ist zweifellos die Posidonia oceanica. Diese Meerespflanze bildet Seegraswiesen, die vielen Arten Schutz und Nahrung bieten, das Wasser mit Sauerstoff anreichern und es sauber halten. Die Posidonia oceanica ist auch für die kristallklare Farbe des Wassers auf der Insel verantwortlich. Auf dem Festland finden wir 124 endemische Pflanzenarten, 32 Farne, 31 Orchideen, 67 geschützte Arten und etwa 130 von außerhalb der Inseln eingeführte Arten, die mit den fast 2.000 Arten des Mittelmeeres koexistieren. Sie sind über eine Vielzahl von Lebensräumen verteilt.
In der Tierwelt zählt die Insel mehr als 300 endemische Tierarten, die meisten davon Insekten, Schnecken und andere wirbellose Tiere. Aber wenn etwas die Inseln charakterisiert, dann sind es die Eidechsen, wie die Balear-Eidechse und die Pitiüsa-Eidechse. Andere endemische Tierarten sind die Ferreret-Kröte, die fast wie ein Fossil in den Schluchten der Serra de Tramuntana lebt und fast ein Symbol für Mallorca ist.
Soziales Ökosystem
Die Unterkunft befindet sich in Valldemossa, einem Dorf mit dem Charme der alten Welt. Es liegt in einem idyllischen Tal inmitten des Tramuntana-Gebirges und ist voll von alten Steinhäusern, malerischen Straßen mit vielen Geschäften, Kunstgalerien, Cafés und Restaurants. Unbedingt sehenswert ist Real Cartuja, das Kartäuserkloster, in dem Chopin und George Sand einst überwinterten.
