I had a great 1 month stay in Susana's apartment. It was very clean and tidy. Very central in Funchal with very easy access to public transport routes. Susana was always attentive to my messages during my stay.
The bedroom window shutters couldn't be opened due to the construction next door though plenty of light entered from the kitchen balcony doors.
Neighborhood
The apartment was central to many tourist attractions, the marina and shops. It is quite busy in the daytime with shoppers and tourists but very quiet in the evenings.
Recommended places nearby
I'd recommend Sé Cathedral, Museu Cafe, Jardim do Município, Avenida do Mar.
