This entire traditional Japanese townhouse offers a unique opportunity to experience the charm, culture and lifestyle of old Kyoto, beautifully blended with Scandinavian-inspired interior design.
The house accommodates up to 6 guests. Instead of conventional beds, we provide traditional Japanese futon bedding, allowing flexibility in sleeping arrangements depending on the size and needs of your group. Please feel free to ask about your preferred arrangement.
The house is fully furnished and equipped with household appliances and Wi-Fi, making it suitable for both short visits and extended stays.

I have a deep appreciation for Kyoto’s traditional culture, history, and unique way of life. I am pleased to share my traditional Japanese machiya townhouse in the historic Kitano area, where you can experience the charm of authentic Kyoto living. I want every guest to feel comfortable, relaxed, and at home during their stay. The house is fully furnished and equipped with everything you need for everyday life, including kitchenware, plates, glasses, mugs, cutlery, chopsticks, and household appliances, as well as Wi-Fi. I value cleanliness, comfort, and good communication, and I will do my best to make your stay as pleasant and memorable as possible. Is your booking request still waiting for host approval? Then you can simply cancel it directly from your My Housing web app!
However, suppose the owner has already approved your booking request, and you are no longer interested in it. In that case, you can still cancel the booking before you sign the lease agreement. Just consider that you should do this only in essential cases. Because when the host accepts your booking, the property is stopped being advertised, and they can lose the chance to rent their property to someone else.
