I’m hesitant to write this…because I selfishly want to keep this place a secret, but Matilde deserves every bit of praise. This was hands down one of the best stays I’ve ever had. The space is calm, welcoming, and so thoughtfully maintained. The location was perfect — away from busy streets and areas but still very convenient. Matilde is kind, responsive, and genuinely warm. You can feel that she truly cares about her guests and wants us to feel at home, which I really appreciate. She even went out of her way to offer tips on where to explore in the city, which led me to some of my favourite Lisbon memories. If you’re lucky enough to find availability, don’t think twice. Just don’t book when I’m in Lisbon please as I consider this my Lisbon home. 🙏🏽🥹

I absolutely love the neighbourhood. Before I came to Lisbon, my friend who has been to Lisbon twice recommended booking somewhere closer to the city center. I am so glad I didn't listen to her because this location is perfect -- close to cafes, reasonably priced & quality restaurants (less touristy), and plenty of supermarkets just a few mins away. On top of that, it's close to the city center. You get best of both worlds: quiet home and convenience to explore if you feel like it. ◡̈
