Beautiful apartment - modern, clean, well-furnished, had all the amenities I needed (full kitchen, great for cooking; heated floor, even A/C) for an excellent four-month stay. Building was above-average (older like most Budapest buildings and in need of repair), but the apartment was outstanding. Judit and Susie were excellent - helpful, communicative, and resolved any minor issues or questions I had. Location was ideal for public transport (Nyugati train station, across from Spar/Lidl groceries, 5-block walk to Parliament/number 2 tram) although by mid-May the neighborhood got very loud in the early morning (to be expected with summer crowds).

Neighborhood
Busy, hectic, louder in the early mornings but lively, accessible; fairly close to tourist attractions (St. Stephen's Basilica 10 minute walk; Parliament 7 minute walk).

Recommended places nearby
Spar (grocery shopping) for more items than Lidl across the street (although not on Sunday afternoons - very busy); Retro Langos (a few blocks away); Patika Bajcsy-Zsilinszky 66 if you need a pharmacy; WestEnd Shopping has a wide variety of stores.

Overall, i enjoyed my stay at the rental. It looked exactly like in the pictures. I enjoyed the light filled space, and views out the windows which provide perfect insulation from the traffic noice. I also appreciated minimalist decor, modern Bosch appliances, and lighting solution. i wished there were basics such as shampoo and shower gel provided at least for the first couple of days, better and fresher quality towels, and some basics in the kitchen such as salt and pepper for instance exc. Also could use closet hangers, and two pillows in the bedroom. Communication was challenging.

Neighborhood
Beautiful neighborhood architecturally, very stately. Markets right across the main boulevard which smells urine at times, homeless and drunk people on the streets certain hours. but if you walk to the right it's a whole different scene, no crowds. I mean the rich and the homeless cohabitation is clear. I enjoyed the stately feel of the area basically !

We rented the apartment for 2.5 months. It is in a perfect location, it was clean, very nice and cozy.
