CHARMING ATTIC FOR NOMADS IN RUZAFA

This updated, modern space works well for a short-term stay, in a great location near the city centre and the appealing aspects of Ruzafa. The steep, narrow stairs make the four flights a healthy workout with every coming and going, and the top floor was definitely much warmer than the lower levels. The kitchen has most of the basic tools for meal support. Although it sleeps up to 5 or 6 people, it is open concept, shared room style, as the loft upstairs (which is shorter than most people standing -- watch your head!) connects the living room to the bedroom. And you'll want to bring along some door hooks to be able to hang your towels to dry, or coats/jackets, purses/shopping bags. I added a couple while I was here, to help future guests.

Neighborhood
This block is at the northeastern edge of Ruzafa, and is quieter than some streets that host all the bars and restaurants. I enjoyed being steps away from the fun stuff, but tucked a bit from all the hubbub. Ruzafa, as the "bohemian" district, is absolutely my choice of place to stay when I'm in València.

Recommended places nearby
There are delicious spots on every block, so check out Ubik Café and DDL Boutique. Bluebell Café is also good. One of the best sushi places I found was Kosushi, right next to the barrio's favorite churro and buñuelo spot!

Neighborhood
Typical in-town Valencian neighborhood. Plentiful and nearby markets, shops, and eateries. Metro stop 6-7 minutes walk and major bus stops 1-2 minutes. Central market is 20 minutes walk & a bit faster with public transport for part of that

Adjacent to Túria gardens, so walking to CBD via the park is a pleasure!
