Introducing My Latest Little Gem: The Buda-side Tiny Home! 🏡❤️
Let me introduce you to my latest project: **the Buda-side Tiny Home!** I have to admit, I’ve fallen a little bit in love with this tiny treasure, and I’m absolutely delighted to share it with you!
When designing this little home, I had one mission in mind: to make every single square centimetre count. And I think I’ve managed to work a little magic! ✨
Although it measures just 14 m², this thoughtfully designed space has everything you need for a comfortable and carefree stay: a fully equipped kitchen with a coffee maker, microwave, induction cooktop and fridge; a washer-dryer; a cosy 90 × 200 cm bed; clever built-in storage; and a complete bathroom with a toilet and shower. Everything has its place, every detail has been carefully considered, and nothing essential is missing.
Please forgive my enthusiasm, but I’m genuinely proud of this little home! 😊 It’s a tiny space with a big heart, designed especially for one person who appreciates clever solutions, comfort and a touch of cosiness.
🌿 A Little Peace and Quiet on the Buda Side
One of the things I love most about this place is its location. Tucked away on a quiet street on the Buda side of Budapest, it offers a peaceful little retreat where you can almost forget you’re in a bustling capital city. And yet, everything is wonderfully close at hand!
Újbuda Központ and the Allee Shopping Centre are just a ten-minute walk away. The Újbuda-központ M4 metro station, along with tram lines 17, 19, 41, 47, 48, 49 and 56, can be reached in approximately five minutes on foot. Whether you're heading out to explore the city, meet friends, go shopping or simply enjoy a leisurely day, getting around couldn't be easier.
And if you ask me about my favourite little spot in the neighbourhood, I’ll point you straight to **Green Corner café on Ulászló Street**. It's a lovely place for breakfast or a morning coffee, with wonderfully warm and friendly service. I especially enjoy sitting on the terrace, sipping my coffee and watching the neighbourhood slowly come to life. It's one of those simple little pleasures that can make an ordinary morning feel special. ☕🌞

I wholeheartedly recommend this tiny home to solo travellers who love the idea of having a comfortable, private retreat of their own while staying close to one of Budapest’s lively urban hubs. 🤍 A Few House Rules to Keep This Little Haven Lovely
Although the apartment is conveniently located, please keep in mind that this is a peaceful residential neighbourhood rather than Budapest's famous party district, which is mainly on the Pest side of the city.
To help preserve the tranquillity of the building and show consideration for the neighbours, I kindly ask all guests to respect the following house rules:
- **Quiet enjoyment:** Please refrain from loud or disruptive activities, particularly during the evening and night.
- **No smoking:** Smoking is not permitted inside the apartment.
- **No pets:** Unfortunately, pets are not allowed.
- **Registered guests only:** Only the person named in the booking may stay at the property. Unregistered visitors are not permitted.
- **No parties or disruptive behaviour:** Parties, excessive noise, rowdy gatherings and any activities that disturb the neighbours are strictly prohibited.
- **No sex work on the premises:** Bringing sex workers into the apartment is strictly prohibited.

Darf ich vorstellen: mein neuestes Projekt – **das Tiny Home auf der Budaer Seite!** Ich muss gestehen, dass ich mich ein kleines bisschen in diesen winzigen Schatz verliebt habe, und ich freue mich riesig, ihn mit Ihnen zu teilen!
Bei der Planung dieses kleinen Zuhauses hatte ich ein Ziel: Jeder einzelne Quadratzentimeter sollte zählen. Und ich glaube, es ist mir gelungen, ein bisschen Magie hineinzuzaubern! ✨
Obwohl es nur 14 m² misst, bietet dieser durchdacht gestaltete Raum alles, was Sie für einen komfortablen und unbeschwerten Aufenthalt brauchen: eine voll ausgestattete Küche mit Kaffeemaschine, Mikrowelle, Induktionskochfeld und Kühlschrank; einen Waschtrockner; ein gemütliches Bett (90 × 200 cm); clevere Einbaustauräume; und ein komplettes Badezimmer mit Toilette und Dusche. Alles hat seinen Platz, jedes Detail wurde sorgfältig durchdacht, und nichts Wesentliches fehlt.
Bitte verzeihen Sie meine Begeisterung, aber ich bin wirklich stolz auf dieses kleine Zuhause! 😊 Es ist ein winziger Raum mit großem Herz, speziell für eine Person gestaltet, die clevere Lösungen, Komfort und einen Hauch Gemütlichkeit zu schätzen weiß.
🌿 Ein bisschen Ruhe und Frieden auf der Budaer Seite
Eines der Dinge, die ich an diesem Ort am meisten liebe, ist seine Lage. Versteckt in einer ruhigen Straße auf der Budaer Seite von Budapest bietet er einen friedlichen kleinen Rückzugsort, an dem man fast vergisst, dass man sich in einer lebhaften Hauptstadt befindet. Und trotzdem ist alles wunderbar nah!
Das Újbuda Központ und das Allee Shopping Centre sind nur zehn Gehminuten entfernt. Die U-Bahn-Station Újbuda-központ (M4) sowie die Straßenbahnlinien 17, 19, 41, 47, 48, 49 und 56 sind in etwa fünf Minuten zu Fuß erreichbar. Ob Sie die Stadt erkunden, Freunde treffen, einkaufen gehen oder einfach einen entspannten Tag genießen möchten: Besser kann man kaum unterwegs sein.
Und wenn Sie mich nach meinem Lieblingsplätzchen in der Nachbarschaft fragen, schicke ich Sie direkt zum **Café Green Corner in der Ulászló utca**. Es ist ein herrlicher Ort für ein Frühstück oder einen Morgenkaffee, mit wunderbar herzlichem und freundlichem Service. Besonders gern sitze ich auf der Terrasse, nippe an meinem Kaffee und sehe zu, wie die Nachbarschaft langsam zum Leben erwacht. Es ist eines dieser einfachen kleinen Vergnügen, die einen gewöhnlichen Morgen besonders machen. ☕🌞

Ich empfehle dieses Tiny Home von ganzem Herzen Alleinreisenden, die die Vorstellung lieben, einen komfortablen, privaten Rückzugsort für sich zu haben und dabei nah an einem der lebendigen urbanen Zentren Budapests zu wohnen. Es ist ideal für alle, die durchdachtes Design, eine friedliche Atmosphäre und die Freiheit schätzen, alles in greifbarer Nähe zu haben.

Um die Ruhe im Haus zu bewahren und Rücksicht auf die Nachbarn zu nehmen, bitte ich alle Gäste freundlich, die folgenden Hausregeln einzuhalten:
- **Ungestörte Ruhe:** Bitte unterlassen Sie laute oder störende Aktivitäten, besonders am Abend und in der Nacht.
- **Rauchverbot:** In der Wohnung darf nicht geraucht werden.
- **Keine Haustiere:** Haustiere sind leider nicht erlaubt.

A Little About Me Hello, and welcome! My name is Sarah — or Sára, as it’s written in Hungarian — and I work at Eötvös Loránd University in beautiful Budapest. When I’m not working, I love spending my time exploring one of my greatest passions: interior design. I have a particular soft spot for the tiny-house and tiny-home concept — the idea that a small space can be transformed into a home that feels cosy, beautiful, and completely your own. There is something truly special about making the most of a small space: finding a thoughtful place for everything, creating a sense of harmony, and discovering how even the tiniest corner can have its own purpose and charm. I’m fascinated by how the tiny-home philosophy reminds us that we don’t need a lot of space to feel comfortable, happy, and truly at home. Sometimes, it’s the little things that make a place feel just right. Inspired by this idea, I designed this small apartment with the hope of creating a space that feels both practical and welcoming — a little home where every detail has been carefully considered, while still leaving room to relax, enjoy, and simply feel at ease. I’m now very happy to open its doors and share this little place with others. When I’m not dreaming up interiors, you’ll usually find me with a good book, somewhere out on a hiking trail, in a swimming pool, or happily tending to my garden. How you can cancel a booking varies depending on what stage the booking is in.
Is your booking request still waiting for host approval? Then you can simply cancel it directly from your My Housing web app!
However, suppose the owner has already approved your booking request, and you are no longer interested in it. In that case, you can still cancel the booking before you sign the lease agreement. Just consider that you should do this only in essential cases. Because when the host accepts your booking, the property is stopped being advertised, and they can lose the chance to rent their property to someone else.
