Es besteht aus einem Einzelzimmer und einem großen Wohnzimmer mit einem Mezzanine-Schlafbereich, ausgestattete Küche, Bad und separates WC.
Der Eingang erfolgt über den gemeinsamen Balkon und die Fenster gehen auf den Innenhof, so dass es trotz der zentralen Lage sehr ruhig ist.
Fernsehen, WiFi, Arbeitsbereich, vervollständigen die Eigenschaften des Hauses, Bettwäsche, Handtücher zur Verfügung gestellt.

Carlotta is the name of my sweet daughter who runs a cocktail bar in Budapest. I have also a son (Matteo) and a grandchild (Bella) living in Amsterdam. Laura was a very kind and helpful host. The apartment is perfectly located in the very center of the city and is very cosy. The thing to bear in mind is that it has no AC, so it can get quite hot during the summer months, especially during the day, but luckily temperatures go down noticeably during the night in Budapest, so it's ok to sleep. It is also quite an old apartment, but for those who like vintage things it adds to the charm. Overall I enjoyed my stay there and would recommend it to others.
Neighborhood
The apartment is located on a quiet street just off some of the most popular streets of Budapest. During my 6 week stay there I used public transport extremely rarely because everything is so close: museums, cafes, cathedral, main streets, the river. There can hardly be a better location in the city especially for a first time visit.

Casa Carlotta is an old apartment located near one of the most touristic streets in Budapest. I would not recommend the apartment for a stay longer than a couple of days. Of course this is only my experience, but I did not like it at all. It is full of the owners stuff, everywhere, very overwhelming. There is even a drawer full of opened alcoholic drinks. There were lots of food packages opened, as well as opened cooking ingredients and stuff in the fridge. Some appliances, like the microwave, were dirty. Despite the good natural lighting, the artificial lighting is very poor and generates a desolate image. The building itself is old, you should know it is a 3rd floor without an elevator. In addition, the floor is uneven, crooks, and it has steps between the rooms. I must say the owner was welcoming when I arrived and available when I needed to contact her. This is my experience here.
Neighborhood
The streets nearby are touristic, with lots of tourist-oriented restaurants. It has a lot of life and in general it gives a good vibe.

Casa Carlotta is a beautiful home and we really enjoyed our time there, it has a cozy atmosphere that made us feel right at home. The location is perfect, it is central yet calm and overlooking a nice courtyard. Laura is a great host and was always responsive and understanding whenever we needed help. One thing to mention though, is that the apartment has a lot of the owners' personal belongings so make sure you are okay with that. Overall we had a great time and we recommend staying in this apartment :)
