This apartment in São Martinho do Porto is spacious, comfortable, and in a great location.
The apartment is located on the top floor of a small condominium.
It has two bedrooms, a large living room with a comfortable sofa bed, a large dining table area, two balconies, one bigger with a barbecue, and one smaller with 2 chairs.
The host is extremely responsive and the hosting experience is warm and welcoming,
Any questions were met with assistance and lots of recommendations.
There Is extra attention to details that make your stay as comfortable and welcoming as possible. From the extra linen, towels, and blankets to the aroma diffusers that were turned on in advance so there is a nice smell when you walk into the apartment.
It's the little things that make this place very home-like.
What truly sets this stay apart is the bountiful Welcome package.
It is just as described in the listing description and even includes a treat for our pet! It sets the tone for the stay and is such a great feast of local flavors that makes you want to explore those more during your stay here.
Speaking of pets, not only were they very welcoming for pets they even provided a dog bed with clean blankets, making it such a positive and comfortable stay for the whole family 😉.
Accessibility
São Martinho do Porto offers a local Portuguese experience by the sea, and the atmosphere here is great.
The apartment is very well located, literally a few steps away from the stunning São Martinho do Porto bay is shell-shaped and a very unique spot on the silver coast of Portugal.
Local stores, restaurants, bakeries, a pharmacy, the post office, and a small mini market are all within a few minutes walk.
In short walking distance, you can explore the local market, the old city center that is very charming and a great local experience.
There is a bigger supermarket 15-minute walk from the apartment.
For Public transportation, You can reach the train station in less than 10 minutes walk. The city of Caldas da Rainha is the closest if you need city amenities.
Workspace & Wifi
In the apartment itself there is a dedicated workspace in the main bedroom, The Wi-Fi is fast and stable with a speed test result of 141 Mbps download and 15 Mbps upload.
The Wi-Fi works well throughout the apartment, Zoom/Skype works with ease, and streaming works well too.
It's worth mentioning that the kitchen is very spacious and it has a wide variety of amenities making it a delightful cooking experience.
Space to Exercise
There is a place to exercise & meditate in the apartment, however, If you enjoy doing these activities outdoors there are plenty of options outside.
From a lovely area with grass near the beach to a running/bike path right along the bay that is truly fantastic and an abundance of nature trails in its greater surrounding area.
The calmer water here are very also welcoming for water activities.
