The space
This is a spacious, not modern house spread over two floors. The first floor features the room listed, also an open-plan living space, complete with a small but fully equipped kitchen with pots, pans, plates, and cutlery, cooker-oven, fridge-freezer, microwave, kettle, toaster, along with basic cooking ingredients, coffee and sugar;
The sitting area is home to a large sofa, TV and other comfy seating. You’ll find a small collection of books in English, French, and Spanish. The sitting contains the ‘dining area’ which has a large table that comfortably seats four, with a sense of dim red light that makes it perfect for work or conversation.

The second floor, has the four more guest rooms, one spacious double room with a double bed, and three smaller rooms all for one person stay.

You share kitchen, bathroom, two toilets, sitting and garden with all other rooms in the house. The bathroom includes a shower, bath, toilet, hand-basin, and towel rails.

High-speed fibre optic broadband is available throughout the entire house, including WIFI in your room. For those who need to work, an ethernet connection is available at the dining table.

We take care in maintaining the place clean, and comfortable that will make you feel right at home. We look forward to welcoming you and ensuring that your stay is an unforgettable experience.

The expectations of the guests I would appreciate are the good old "couch-surfing plus a fiver" enterprise in a spare room NOT in a hotel environment! You are coming to share one’s home and/or indeed the life of your hosts, and your housemates – co-travellers and other couch-surfing nomads. Come not here with hotel seismic expectations, because you’ll not find your personal room service chambermaid with breakfast menu and room cleaning three times a day, nor bed sheets or towels change every day especially if you're staying 3-5+ days.

I host guests across two houses in Stratford - East London. I’m new to Flatio, but I’ve been hosting at other well-known platforms since 2012. For over twelve years now, I have had a constant stream of fascinating guests who come to this diverse, creative, metropolitan, busy transport hub that Stratford has become.

For those of you who have ever been through Stratford, you know, it has been home to the Olympic Games in 2012 and home of the so-called Mall Giant – Westfield - the largest indoor shopping center in Europe with over 300 shops and restaurants, 17 screen cinema, casino, bowling, ice rink, etc.
I'm delighted to be able to offer you rooms in proximity to this vibrant area in London. Just 12 min away via bus ride, you’ll be staying in one of two guest appointed houses.
One is my home which I share with guests and the other belongs to friends who live abroad. I look after both houses, which are very close and I will be your host for your time with us.
Hosting makes my life possible. More than that it brings people to my door I would otherwise never meet. I enjoy their stories, their lives, their experiences and I certainly enjoy eating and drinking with strangers and friends.

However, suppose the owner has already approved your booking request, and you are no longer interested in it. In that case, you can still cancel the booking before you sign the lease agreement. Just consider that you should do this only in essential cases. Because when the host accepts your booking, the living space is stopped being advertised, and they can lose the chance to rent their property to someone else.
